Assistance at the bivouac
T5 truck
A T5
truck is an assistance special truck which takes roads and off-road
tracks to be each day at the bivouac as soon as possible.
This kind of trucks is equipped to transport all spare parts, tyres and
tools in extreme conditions:
- all spare parts are meticulously ranked in special boxes;
- all the things must be well organized on board to provide a good
quality of assistance on every condition.
Basically, it’s equipped of group and compressor to provide electricity
and air for a good maintenance of the race cars.
Also available: tents, tables and chairs, lights, massage table…
With our experience, we choose 4WD or 6WD trucks (Mercedes, Scania or
Renault) to provide mechanical assistance for 4 or 6 race cars.
Parts &
tools
For
each car, a set of spare parts is provided and transported in the T5
trucks.
This set includes all the parts that are essential for your car to
continue the rally in good conditions.
Generally, a set of 12 new identical tyres are provided (6 or 7 on the
race car).
Aboard your race car, some “easy to change” vital parts are correctly
anchored.
In options, you can ask for a second set of parts, and a tyres set
specially for sand and dunes (BFGoodrich G3).

Mechanics
One mechanic is
dedicated to each race car to provide the best service.
This mechanic is a specialist: he has already worked on it previously.
To fix all the problems, our mechanical team are able to weld, to pierce,
to grind down, to cut…
A set of 4 mechanics is ready to step in the first car arriving at the
bivouac to overhaul it as fast as possible.
If there is a big intervention to do on one race car, all the mechanical
team will help together to fix the problem.
