  CHALLENGE L200 Power 170 : a 4x4 under 50.000 Euros HT  
 
 		   The idea is to build a simple, pleasant to drive, easy to maintain 4x4... and not expensive.

The new MITSUBISHI L200 Power 170 seems to be a good base with its Superselect gearbox and its 2.5L Common Rail diesel engine of 170 and of 40 couple mkg; just a good preparation will be enough to make it efficient and conform to FFSA and FIA rules.

Basis preparation, to do or to fit oneself in kit, would include :

  And what about a monotype challenge with identical vehicles ?  
  Hydraulic jacks.... MAGIC !  
    Their 700mm strokes enableto raise the vehiclein less than a minute, either the 2 wheels on same side, or the 2 rear weheels.  
 
    Commands located inside control a distributor linked to a hydraulic electrical pump. “Double effect » jacks are locked by check valves… Everything is studied to sand out quickly (large plates) or raise the vehicle for a technical intervention.

They can be also adapted on a traditional 4X4, the important thing being to plan a solid fixing point.
