BUCKET SEATS, HARNESS, EXTINGUISHERS... |

Mandatory for
competitions, bucket seats and their
harness must be perfectly adapted to the pilots' morphology and
strongly fixed according very specified rules.
Different
models are available but in general supports are badly adapted to
our series 4X4; so we use multi-positions squares(in
yellow on the opposite photo) which perfectly fit with supports we
planned.
Importants points
:
- good shape, rigidity
- good driving bearing
- solid fixation, obligatory
- minimum 6 points harness
- harness fixation according rules
- extinguishers accessibility and circuit breaker
- reliable exterior pullbacks |

Extinguishers
must be wisely installed because, as most of safety accessories,
they must be accessible by pilots seated in their seats and
harnassed. Then central position is compulsory, like here in our
Pajero.
According
membership group and contended contests categories, automatic
extinguisher is mandatory. Fitting must be realised with the best
precaution. Powder circuits and noses must be perfectly set to play
their part in case of triggering.
