Cross-country
contests are a severe test for vehicles and, in order to preserve
mechanical organs (axles, engine, gearboxes...), it's essential to
protect them with skis (or armour paltes).
This is almost important
for vehicles with varying ground clearance, which concerns in fact
all our modern vehicles with trains
triangulés.
These armour
plates take often shape of origin front ski and are realised in
supple, light and resistant materials, .
Aluminium AG4 is a good choice but Kevlar(R) is even
better but very expensive...
For the rear
side, PE protections are adequate; they avoid rear bumper to "plough"
sand... |
