Although a
traditional 4X4 is conceived to bear impacts, during rallies
suspension elements are subjected to important and repetitive
strains which frequently produce distorsion or break up. Constraints
are all the more so importants that suspensions are generally
hardened to endure hard bops and avoid talonnement. In order to
prevent a potential damage, we do our best to reinforce each
elements weak points.
Thereby, front
and rear
suspension berceaux (see left photos) are reinforced at
fixation points and at crossbeams to limit twisting. Wishbones, arms
and drafts are also doubled with 3mm steel reinforcements laser cut
up.
In T1 category,
you can also do over entirely suspension elements in mecano-welded
tube.
